KINGS OF EPEIROS. Alexander, 350-330 BC. AE (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.81 g, 6 h), Passaron. Eagle standing right with wings closed; to left, tripod; to right, laurel spray. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑ - ΤΟΥ ΝΕ Thunderbolt within laurel wreath. BMC 7-8. HGC 3.1, 258. SNG Copenhagen 90. Vlasto, Alexander, Type 16. Rare and unusually attractive for this difficult issue. Minor smoothing and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
